The holidays are rapidly approaching and a new COVID wave is once again ripping through Los Angeles.

We continue to be on the frontline of this pandemic and we continue to work around-the-clock to provide care for every County patient.

Now more than ever, our DHS Workers need to be valued and appreciated for the work that we do, and that starts with paying us what we are owed.

Our new additional compensation under our new contract continues to be held up across your Department. This includes not paying our Registered Nurses double-overtime after working a minimum of and including four (4) overtime hours in DHS 24-hour direct patient care settings.

We need you to know that this issue is DHS wide and other classifications are also being impacted and disrespected. We are calling on you to take immediate action and remedy the pay situation.

We need to know that you have our backs and will stand with us in seeing that we are made whole.
